Advansys received an award for its role in the GEPD project. The company implemented a Building Management System (BMS) SCADA solution that used AVEVA technology. The GEPD project is a joint venture between Egypt’s NSPO and Grifols. Its goal is to achieve self-sufficiency in plasma-derived medicines and establish a platform in Africa and the Middle East.

This collaboration delivered a system that forms a foundation for Egypt’s pharmaceutical digital future. Advansys’s role was to provide the building automation systems through a five-year contract signed in December 2023.
